Max depth: 5m down the line.
Notes: the free diving course went for the first open water dive. We completed a fe exercises: cable descend to 3m, cable descend to 5, cable descend to 5m upside down, dyn on the horizontal line at 3m.
I did not enjoy the dive very much. It was a little chaos, and the visibility was low. I started to overheat because of the intense sun and the thick wetsuit. I also felt seasick.
I completed almost all exercises, but not with the ease I expected before entering water.
Better luck next time.
I also practices a few duck dives without fins and wetsuit later in the afternoon. It was way better.

Water Temperature: 28C
Weights: 8kg
Max Depth: 7m

Good visibility but I was not able to relax. For some reason, I was very tense and my dives were short. I had a hard time equalizing the left ear.
I spent the last part of the dive without a wetsuit, just practicing basic duck dives near the shore.

We went without wetsuits, weights, nor fins. We had some fun swimming freely and practicing duck dives. It was good fun.
For some reason, I kept having issues equalizing the left ear and I felt stuffed until the following day.

Great visibility, we explored the reef and the sandy floor of the coast. The spot we picked for the base camp was a little tricky to find. However, it turned out as a great location.
The water was plenty of fish and I tried a few deeper dives. I was able to reach 9m, which is my personal record. I had a little trouble compensating at the very beginning, but then it got better and I was quickly able to dive deeper.

This session was not great and I decided to end it after only 20 minutes in the water. I felt a little sick, probably I didn’t let enough time between lunch and the session. Just one hour was not enough this time. Better wait a little longer next time.

Notes: spent most of the session perfecting my technique. Had a few issues with compensation in deeper dives. I was quite positive at 4mt dives. I saw a hippocampus, squids, and jellyfish.

Notes
My first time in open water, after just a few lessons at the swimming pool.
Wearing the wetsuit (5mm) was less difficult than expected and my conditioner water solution worked well.
I had 7kg on my belt and it was great.
I practiced many dives and I was able to go as deep as 3.5 meters.
